Irrational Games are back following a name change from 2K Boston. With some excellent titles under their belt, the 2K Boston team have reverted back to their original company name of Irrational Games according to Game Informer. With a long history of creating some great games including Bioshock, System Shock 2 and Freedom Force, the studio has realised the value of their old name and the following it had by fans of their titles.A new Irrational Games company website has just gone live which features a simple countdown timer but more is promised on the new site according to Game Informer including “cool community features, insight into the game creation process, and never-before-seen tidbits about games like System Shock 2, Freedom Force, and BioShock”. More on the company and the reasons behind the name change is expected to feature in their February issue of the mag.
