Inscryption Act 1 completion – Escaping The Cabin in Act 1 and starting a New Game
Let’s talk about how we can finally escape The Cabin in Act 1 of Inscryption.
After you finish the Leshy boss fight, you’ll hear someone blurt out that they’ve beaten the encounter. Next, a screen pops up with several videos. These were made by TheLuckyCarder, who seems to be a fictional content creator who’s interested in Inscryption.
He finds a set of coordinates in one card pack and goes to investigate. There, he discovers an old Inscryption floppy disk.
An old-school title screen pops up. Once you click on it, you’re back in Leshy’s lair. Now, if you already acquired the camera film from the Cuckoo Clock puzzle, you can insert it into the device.
As Leshy tries to grab you, click to take a photo and trap him.
You’ll find yourself in a well-lit room with a nifty icon: an outline of a person with the plus sign. Interact with it, and you’ll reappear in a dark room with nowhere to go. Don’t worry because all you need to do is go back to the main menu. You’ll see that you can finally drag the New Game button to the slot.
The screen shows that it’s booting up and the next scene tells you of the world and the Scrybes of Inscryption. Your character magically ends up in the overworld of an RPG. Yes, folks, for its second act, this rogue-lite CCG just turned into a classic RPG. It’s time for Inscryption‘s second act, and your immediate goal is to select your starting deck for the continuation of your journey.
Inscryption is available on Steam. For more information, check out our guides and features hub.
