As you’re learning the ropes in Inscryption, you’ll likely come across bosses at the end of each zone. These are tough opponents, usually with a couple of phases and several unique mechanics that will punish you. Here’s our Inscryption guide to help you defeat all bosses in The Cabin (Act 1).

Inscryption boss guide – How to beat all bosses in The Cabin (Act 1)
There are four areas that you’ll find yourself in during Act 1 in The Cabin. After several encounters and visits to vendors, you’ll be up against the boss of that area. Defeating the first three bosses nets you a selection of rare cards (you can pick one), as well as a possible bonus. The fourth and final boss, meanwhile, is your means of escaping The Cabin. Make sure you’re well prepared and that you’ve brought the ideal cards, deathcards, and sigil combos.
Anyway, I’ve divided our Inscryption Act 1 boss guide into several sections. You can refer to the pages below for the parts that you need help with:
- Area 1: The Prospector
- Area 2: The Angler
- Area 3: The Trapper and the Trader
- Area 4: Leshy, the Trials, and the Moon phase
- Completion: Escaping the Cabin
Note 1: During the first act of Inscryption, you should be able to solve the Painting puzzle to earn your third life. This will be helpful throughout your run. However, all boss fights will cause you to have a single life only (i.e., sudden death mechanic). But, you do obtain Smoke cards (when destroyed, they’ll give you bone tokens). Anyway, remember that this game is a rogue-lite. Death will cause you to restart from the first zone, and you’ll need to build up your cards again outside of your starting deck.
Note 2: It’s also imperative that you solve the Cuckoo Clock puzzles for the ring and camera film. These two items will be very important when you finally reach Leshy’s location.
