Infinity Ward seems to be teasing of the next season of Call of Duty: Warzone, Season 5. The beginning of Season 4 saw the addition of new operators such as Captain Price and new weapons such as the Vector and Galil from previous titles. The teaser video was sent to popular Twitch streamer Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, and he shared the change to Verdansk with Call of Duty: Warzone fans.

The teaser video

In the video, the camera appears to be positioned on the end of a train. When listening to the video, what sounds like a train’s horn can be heard as the helicopter passes by. The teaser shows the date August 5, 2020. This could be the date that Season 5 will release or possibly some sort of Call of Duty: Warzone event.

Warzone Teaser video shows train for season 5

The grainy footage suggests that the train will be rolling around the already existing tracks in Verdansk. This supports a leak that VGC published last month, which stated a train will be added to Call of Duty: Warzone, similar to the train in Apex Legends. The train in Apex Legends has loot dotted all over it, so the new Call of Duty: Warzone train could be filled with the same.

The same source also informed Call of Duty: Warzone fans that the addition of the train is the start of bringing the map more in line with the next Call of Duty. Also, this new addition will mean that the train could be a popular spot upon its release. This is yet another exciting development with the narrative of the bunkers, ringing phones, and nuclear weapons found in Call of Duty: Warzone. All of this fits the Cold War narrative, which is supposedly the focus of Call of Duty 2020.

We’ll have more news and rumors about Warzone and Call of Duty 2020 as they surface.
