A second source claiming to be an Infinity Ward insider has spoken out in response to the anonymous statements made about the studio on Saturday.

Kotaku were allegedly contacted again, this time by somebody with a sunnier outlook on life. “We are not dead,” the source states, reassuringly. “When you talk about the people who left, they are the best in the business, but equally everyone at Infinity Ward deserves that same credential. We are here for the long haul of keeping the Modern Warfare name alive.”

This is quite a contrast to the views of the original insider, who claimed that “IW as you know it is dead … and it will continue to crumble.”

The authenticity of either of these sources is unknown. Rumours that the second source’s name may rhyme with ‘Kobby Botick’ are also unconfirmed.
