The new Lara Croft title arrives next week so we thought you might want to see how it plays.

While it’s not the usual Lara Croft offering, it’s a return to the isometric action we saw in Guardian of Light,  Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is promising plenty of action and adventure raiding tombs and taking on the evil Egyptian god Set. The game comes with drop-in/drop-out co-op play, and as Tim and I found out, this game is all about the co-op. With levels specifically designed to utilise the skills of the four available characters, who all have their own unique abilities, teamwork is the only way to beat the enemies and solve the puzzles.

In our hour long rampage through the first part of the game, Tim played the role of Lara while I jumped in as Horus. We discovered that we may not be the best tomb raiding partners because in order to get through the game in co-op you really do need to work as a team. You’ll have to excuse Tim’s constant shouting at me for not putting up my special Shield and also his greed for gems. He wanted all the loot!

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris  is coming out on 9 December and we hope this hour long video gives you a real taste of the action through the first parts of the game.
