Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Producer Parts Ways With Sony

Kenji Kaido, producer of the critically acclaimed Playstation 2 titles, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, recently announced that he has decided to retire from Sony Computer Entertainment via his Twitter account. His departure became official this month.

The highly talented producer says that his future plans are uncertain at the moment, but for now he plans on enjoying the rest of hi summer vacation.

Kenji Kaido joined Sony Computer Entertainment all the way back in 1997. During his 15 year long career with Sony he worked on a number of high-profile titles for their systems, including Ico and Shadow of the Colossus where he acted as producer on both games.
