Upgrading is important in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage because you’ll need to get stronger. Otherwise, if you don’t, you may get punished and you’ll hit a wall. This concerns everything, from your weapons to your outfit. The one piece of gear that combines everything is your tools. Regardless of the tools you’re using, making them better will be important early on. Upgrading tools is simple but looks complicated for some reason. This guide will show you how the upgrading tools system works in Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. It’s good advice and will help out in any situation you’re in.
Assassin’s Creed: Mirage – How upgrading tools works
To upgrade tools, you must first have the resources which can be found all over Baghdad. If you have enough, there will be a prompt on the screen telling you that information. So, now, make your way to any Assassin Bureau and talk to the NPC on the left in the main room. All NPCs in every bureau will be in the same spot.
You’ll get two options when talking to him: Unlocking more tools or upgrading and resetting tools. Press the second one, and you’ll get all the tools you have with whichever upgrades are available to use. Each tool-like outfit has three tiers that you can buy. Additionally, the first two tiers have three lines of effects the tool does. You can swap between each effect in each tier without using any resources. This means that, including the third tier, each tool will have three effects active at once. However, you must unlock the previous tier to unlock the tier below it.
When you buy a single tier, all the effects in its line will open. Experiment by going back and forth.

How to unlock more tools
Unlocking and getting more tools is simple. The tools are already available to use; however, the slots in your tool wheel aren’t. To get more, you must buy the Extra Tool Capacity skill. There are a few of them for every slot.
It’s also worth noting that while you can reset skills, you can’t recover skills that are used for the Extra Tool Capacity perk. It’s unfortunate, but at least you get to keep the tools you’ve had with a new play style.
