The truth is, there is a way to wake up quickly and turn the tide of the battle in your favor. Here’s how to wake up faster in Party Animals.

If you have been knocked down in a match, you need to press two buttons in quick succession repeatedly to get up faster. That would be the buttons to punch (left click) and run (Shift + any of the WASD movement keys).

In simple terms, you need to struggle, and struggle hard. Mashing these buttons and giving it your all allows your character to get up within a mere few moments of being knocked down. This reduces the chance another player can successfully pick you up and drag you to your doom before you recover by a lot. It also makes it easier to turn the tide on them. You can more easily knock them out when you flail in the air after recovering.
