How to overlay the minimap in Last Epoch

Using the minimap overlay in Last Epoch is simple but not ever explained. You can overlay the minimap on your screen by pressing Tab. It’s that simple… I just wish the game told you that instead of you having to come here for the answer.

With the minimap overlay on your screen, you can see the entire area you’re in. Use the arrows to move the minimap around. With the minimap overlay, you can have a better understanding of how to reach your destination. Without it, I wandered around aimlessly trying my best to go in the direction of the pinpoint in the top right minimap.

Using the minimap in Last Epoch

When you aren’t using the overlay minimap, you can rely on the minimap stapled to the top right corner of the screen. Press the plus button to zoom in and the minus button to zoom out. It’s fairly useful, especially when you need to focus and can’t have the overlap minimap up.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to pull up a screen of the minimap. Pressing M only brings up the world map. You’ll either need to rely on the overlay minimap or the minimap in the top right corner.

If you do get lost or just need a break, you can make a portal to town by pressing T. This portal is a way to save your progress. Return to down and sell or store your weapons and gear. When you’re ready, return through the portal to be exactly where you were. You can also respec your Passives, Specializations, and Skills in town if you’d like.
