Tears Of The Kingdom Poe Souls Guide

How to use Poe Souls in Tears of the Kingdom

Time for some ghost hunting.

Poe Souls are a new collectible to find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. And you may have already collected a bunch from the Depths, a massive sprawling underground map beneath the Surface. The game doesn’t exactly make it clear what these Poe Souls do though. And while this isn’t the first time Poe’s have featured in Zelda, they’ve never been used like this. So, let’s get into how you use Poe Souls in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to use Poe Souls

Poe Souls are found all across the depths in various places. For the most part, you’ll see lots of little groups of Poe Souls that are each worth one. But you can also find larger Poe Souls with a green flame that are worth five. Then there are Souls that glow red and these are worth 20. There are a lot of these to find across the depths, and it’s in your best interest to collect as many as you see.

As for what you actually do with these Poe Souls, it’s pretty simple. They’re a form of currency for the Bargainer Statues that you can find in specific parts of the Depths. But the first one you’ll likely encounter is actually located at Lookout Landing. It’s right next to the entrance of the village, in the same room with Robbie and Josha. Here you can buy a handful of useful items like Dark Clumps or Bomb Flowers in exchange for Poe Souls.

But the real prize is the armor that these statues offer. At first, it’ll offer the Dark Tunic from the Dark Link armor set. And as you find more statues in the Depths, more armor will be added to the list. You can also ask the statue at Lookout Landing to reveal the location of other statues in the depths for some Poe Souls. These statues are also the key to unlocking the Depths armor set which provides resistance to Gloom damage. But if you want to find some armor that can quickly give you an advantage, check out how to find the Fierce Deity armor set.
