Torches and Shields come to mind as some popular off-hand items. Sadly, LEGO Fortnite doesn’t walk you through how to put useful items like these in your off-hand, so you’re going to want to know how to do it— and here’s how. Take a torch, for example, and drag it to the inventory slot next to your hot bar, titled off-hand.

The game has a day and night cycle. Having a torch handy when night falls will save you from having to fiddle with your brightness settings.

The Shield will be fairly useful for fighting some of the stronger enemies in the game, as you’re bound to stumble upon enemy camps around the LEGO Fortnite world, and some are mighty challenges.
