Making a build in Diablo 4 isn’t just about the skills, or your gear. While those are important, there are passives you can get which enhance the build. These come in the form of Aspects. These Aspects are useful, so no matter which class you’re using, having at least one will make a world of difference. They can act as an element to tie your current build together, so it’s a good idea to obtain them when you can. This guide will show you how to use Aspects in Diablo 4.
Diablo 4: How to apply Aspects
Every class uses Aspects, however, the majority of them are class specific. You can see which class the Aspect is for by looking at its card. Certain Aspects can buff certain effects, such as Overpowerd ones.
To start, you’ll need to unlock the Aspects by leveling up to 25 or find a Codex of Power. This can be done by completing any dungeon and is the fastest way to get Aspects, as opposed to leveling up.
Aspects can be found in dungeons. Check the Collection tab to view which dungeon has which Aspect. To narrow it down for your class, checkmark the box that says for my class only.
To imprint an Aspect on your gear, head to an Occulist in any major city. Upon talking to him, your inventory will open, and his imprinting menu will open as well.
Select the Codex of Power option from the Occulist’s menu, and this will bring up another menu of all the Apsects you have.
Pick the one you want to use, and it’ll automatically go into the Codex of Power spot. From there, the gear that can use it will be highlighted.
Drag the piece of gear into the item spot, and it will show you what you get from imprinting it. After you have decided, and have the money and Veiled Crystals, press Imprint Aspect.
On top of that, you can extract Aspects of Legendary weapons from the Occulists. When you do this, you’ll earn an Aspect that goes into the Aspect tab in your Inventory.
To apply it, drag the Aspect from your Inventory to the Asepect from Inventory option. The steps after are the same as if you are doing this from the Codex of Power option.
How to use the Aspects
As mentioned, these Aspects are passive and only activate during specific moments. Some work as buffs for attacks, while others work to enhance your gear. So you must read what they do. They are beneficial to any play style. When things get hectic, and you have the appropriate Aspect, you can come out on top.
