How to unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You'll be rushing to get her.

Disney Dreamlight Valley doesn’t have enough of the Disney Princesses to recreate the scene from Ralph Breaks The Internet, but it is working toward that with the recent addition of Vanellope. Here is a full guide on how to unlock Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

If you’re like me, you’re a long-time fan of Wreck-It Ralph and eager to unlock the glitchy racing princess. To get started, track down Scrooge McDuck. Then talk to him to start “The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley.”

The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley

Scrooge tells you he saw a ghost in the Dream Castle at the very top next to the fountain. It’s a simple enough of a place to get to, so let’s go.

As you may have guessed, the disturbance at the top of the castle is not a ghost.

It’s just Vanellope, standing there glitching and being tiny.

She tells you she lost control of her glitch and just glitched into this place. Then she asks you to take a photo of something awesome outside the castle to see if it helps her control it.

This completes the first quest, allowing you to pick up “Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust.”

Now you have to snap a photo for the Dreamsnaps theme going on. You can access this from the menu under ‘Event’ at any time.

We need Modern furniture with Playful and Familiar tags, plus the two Wreck-It Ralph furniture items in the game can’t hurt. You should have enough furniture to satisfy this on hand unless you just started. If not, filter those two tags in Scrooge’s catalog and order what you need.

Submit the photo when you’re done taking it. Then return to Vanellope.

Vanellope says she’s feeling stable enough to stay in the valley now. You’re now able to place her house down wherever you want.

It’ll cost 4,000 Star Coins to build Vanellope’s house. As per usual, once that is done she’ll appear by the well for a welcoming photo.

Now you’ve done it and unlocked Vanellope! Fairly simple unlock, all things considered. Time to gain her friendship.
