How to unlock titles in Diablo 4

If you’ve been playing Diablo 4, you’ve probably noticed that some players have cool titles under their names. Throughout your time playing this game, you can unlock different words to create unique title combinations for your characters. But how do you unlock titles in Diablo 4? If you don’t know where everyone keeps getting them, we’ll explain everything below.

How to get titles in Diablo 4

Character titles consist of two words. One is an adjective prefix, the other a noun suffix. Once unlocked, you can choose any adjective to pair with any noun. While playing the game, you’ll slowly earn more titles without realizing it, giving yourself a lot of opportunities to create funny titles.

There is only one way you can unlock titles, and that is through the Challenges system. Not all Challenges reward you with them, but sometimes when your character completes a Challenge, they’ll unlock two words to apply as a title.

I don’t really go after Challenges myself, I just sort of unlock them accidentally as I go. But if you’re someone who likes to 100% a game, you’ll want to check out the Challenges list. If you head to the menu by pressing ‘Tab’, there is a Challenges section available for your reading.

Some Challenges can be pretty easy, but some are insanely difficult. They still may be worth it for the title rewards. Now that you know how to unlock titles in Diablo 4, how about adding them to your character? All you have to do is press ‘C’ to see your character inventory, then click on ‘Profile’ on the top left. It will show your entire Profile, and if you select ‘Edit,’ you can change your title!

You can now change the prefix and suffix to create an interesting title combination. Go forth, and unlock as many titles as you can!
