Very early in your journey through Like a Dragon: Ishin, you might visit a few of the local shops for food you can eat to refill energy lost in battle. One such shop is Umai Udon. The proprietor whips up a mean noodle dish, and you can help him deliver his food to customers. Here is our guide on how to unlock the Udon Shop minigame in Like a Dragon: Ishin.

Like a Dragon: Ishin – Unlocking the Udon Shop minigame
The Umai Udon shop is located in Fushimi Ichibangai, along its northwest side. You will see customers seated at benches near the counter, where a kind man takes your first order.
To unlock the Udon Shop minigame, become a repeat customer. The dish you select for your first order is unimportant. You just want to establish a bond with the owner. Later, when you head to his establishment again, he will talk to you about his food and offer you a free sample.

The man is trying to drum up future business with a regular client. Even if you have only visited once previously, the scene should display. If it doesn’t, return a bit later. The scene depicts the man getting a little too demonstrative, which causes him to throw out his back ahead of the lunch hour rush.
When the scene concludes, that kicks off the ‘All in the Hips’ substory. You complete it by serving lunch to the crowd. The game has several difficulty levels available. After a completed attempt, you receive a percentage of any revenue generated. The first time you complete the game, the All in the Hips substory is also marked complete.

With the substory completed, you can return to the shop whenever you like. Talk to the man and he will let you “Pitch in at the shop” to earn more money.
