If you’ve been keeping up with Vampire Survivors, you know the devs will keep releasing updates out of the blue. Case and point, a week before their next DLC Operation Guns launches, a surprise update has hit the game. So we’re here to take a look at the new level and figure out how to unlock the Laborratory stage in Vampire Survivors.
Vampire Survivors — How to unlock the Laborratory
The new Laborratory stage is the first “AAAA” stage to be added to the Vampire Survivors lineup. The new map is so advanced and groundbreaking, players can now use doors to enter new rooms. Clearly, Ubisoft has some competition for AAAA developer of the year. Jokes aside, the new map introduces a lot of new and interesting mechanics for the stage such as a moving train and even “cart races.”
But before you can jump in and start unlocking the new character, you need to unlock the Laborratory. This is quite easy, as all you have to do is pick up a total of 33 Rosaries while you play the game. Rosaries are items that drop in any level and clear all enemies from the screen. If you’ve been playing for a while and have picked up a plethora of Rosaries, the game will recognize this and retroactively apply these items.
If you’ve already collected enough Rosaries, start a new run and then exit the run. When you get back to the stage select, you’ll have successfully unlocked the Laborratory. This shouldn’t be too difficult, and once you unlock the stage, you can test it out in co-op.
