Each one is a different kind of pixelated firework you can watch go off every few seconds, creating a deadly yet dazzling display that you can eventually just sit back and watch as your build reaches autopilot status. In the seasonally-appropriate Chilling Update, a new contender steps up to join the game’s esteemed arsenal: the Glass Fandango. This is a powerful new weapon that opens up some exciting new build possibilities, so you’ll definitely want to know how to unlock the Glass Fandango in Vampire Survivors. How to get your mitts on the Glass Fandango in Vampire Survivors

Before you can unlock the Glass Fandango, you’ll first need to unlock the new Whiteout stage by collecting a total of 20 Orologions across all of your runs. This is fairly easy to do, but if you’re struggling we have some tips in the guide linked above that you can check out to get things moving.

Once you’ve got access to Whiteout, grab your favorite character and jump in to get started on unlocking the Glass Fandango. The weapon appears naturally in this stage, in a cave north of your starting location. You can bring up your map to check on its relative position at any time. Make your way to it, being sure to pick up a few levels along the way, and grab it to add it to your current lineup.

Simply collecting the Glass Fandango here won’t unlock it properly, however. To do that you’ll need to level it up to level 7, by collecting experience from fallen enemies. Interestingly, 7 isn’t the maximum level you can get the weapon to, 8 is, so it’s unclear why 7 is the goal to aim for here. Regardless, just level it up whenever the option comes up and you’ll have finished this task in no time. Once complete, you’ll unlock the Glass Fandango for use across all of your future runs as soon as your run ends

How to evolve the Glass Fandango in Vampire Survivors

The Glass Fandango is an interesting weapon that’s more effective while an Orologion is active, while you’re moving, and against frozen enemies. Once you evolve it into the Celestial Voulge, which you can do by opening a chest while you have both the Glass Fandango and the Wings passive item at their maximum levels of 8 and 5, respectively, it gains the ability to inflict critical hits and freeze enemies. It also turns Orologions into Starry Heavens: new items that trigger an extremely flashy AOE attack when collected
