World of Warcraft: How to unlock “Support Your Local Artisans” achievement in Love is in the Air event
“Love is in the Air” is a yearly event that transpires during the days surrounding Saint Valentine’s Day. There’s a good bunch of activities and even the traditional “sinister plot” that we all have to investigate. Well, if you have a significant other, you know that buying gifts, chocolates, and planning romantic dates is not cheap – except if you try your absolute best – and, in the spirit of the economic implications of dating, the “Love is in the Air” event in World of Warcraft has introduced the “Support your Local Artisans” achievement.
If you don’t know the term “gold sink” you are about to find out. You see, World of Warcraft in-game economics needs to be inflation-prove, so enabling ways in which the players can dump their hard-earned gold coins is what Blizzard does, and they do so very efficiently. To get the “Support your Local Artisans” achievement, you will need to donate a whopping 70,000 gold coins to the representative of the Artisan’s Consortium that matches your faction:
Artisan’s Consortium Representatives locations
NPC | Faction | Location | Coordinates |
---|---|---|---|
Galvus Ironhammer | Alliance | Stormwind | 32, 49.7 |
Torgando Featherhoof | Horde | Ogrimmar | 42.2, 18.1 |

You will need to perform seven different 10,000 gold coin donations on seven different days. This is because 10,000 is the absolute maximum you can donate per day. For every 10,000 gold coin donation, you will receive a Bundle of Love Tokens (10 Love Tokens) which you can use to redeem goods at the Gala of Gifts found outside Stormwind or Ogrimmar.
