Vampire Survivors is always generous with content and the Operation Guns DLC is no exception. There are so many new characters, so let me show you how to unlock Stanley in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns.
How to find 21 RapidFires in Vampire Survivors to unlock Stanley
Unlike other characters who need specific weapons evolved, Stanley has an unusual unlock requirement. You need to collect 21 Rapid Fire powerups to get him.Â
Rapid Fire powerups only appear on the Contra collab stage, Neo Galuga, and you can see what they look like in the picture above. It does what it says on the tin: All your weapons fire faster when you have Rapid Fire.
Fortunately, Rapid Fire seems to appear pretty frequently, so it shouldn’t take too long to unlock the character. While exploring the map, I found several Rapid Fire powerups on the ground. I also found many Rapid Fire powerups by shooting the floating drone that periodically flies from left to right on the screen.
In my experience, you only need to see 21 Rapid Fire powerups appear, not necessarily collect them. This should help you get Stanley faster. With 21 Rapid Fires seen in a run, you can play until the end or just quit through the pause menu to unlock Stanley. You can find Stanley on the character list as usual, and he can be used anywhere in the game.
What does Rapid Fire do in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns?
While I don’t have the exact numbers, Rapid Fire unsurprisingly increases how fast your weapons shoot. This buff doesn’t last forever, and you can tell it’s active as the ground by your character’s feet glows red and orange.
Neo Galuga is pretty tough early on, as many enemies are surprisingly tanky. Rapid Fire doesn’t guarantee a win against formidable foes, but it will certainly help. With Stanley unlocked, it shouldn’t be hard to unlock Probotector and the other Contra characters.
