How to unlock Seal III in Vampire Survivors

A kiss from a rose.

There are items and weapons you will want in your arsenal and some you will never want to encounter. Let’s make sure the latter does not happen. Here is how to unlock Seal III in Vampire Survivors.

Let’s talk about what the Seal stat and PowerUp even is. Seal is one of the stats you can purchase at the PowerUp menu that will grant you the ability to Banish any item of your choosing before you enter the stage. Banishing an item eliminates it from the item pool, allowing you to keep the best items for your run or even focus on leveling up certain items for unlockables.

If you try looking for the Seal stat in the PowerUp menu, you will notice it isn’t there at all. This is one of the stats that needs to be unlocked and to do so, you will have to Banish a total of 10 different items in the same run. Now, while the Seal PowerUp does allow you to Banish items, Banish itself is another PowerUp that will do the same thing but during the run after you level up.

The devs have now included a Seal III stat which further increases the amount of Seals you can perform to 60. However, getting to Seal III will pose a problem for beginners or gamers jumping back into the game – like me. You see, unlocking Seal III will require players to Banish and/or Seal a total of 40 different items. This is twice as much as you need to Banish for Seal II – 20 Banishes in a single run.

What’s the issue? Well, for starters, you only get a limited amount of Banishes from the get-go. You get to Banish two items per Banish Rank:

24 itemsLog 70 entries in the Collection.
36 itemsLog 80 entries in the Collection.
48 itemsLog 90 entries in the Collection.
510 itemsLog 100 entries in the Collection.

Unlocking 100 entries in your Collection might be too much to ask for you, so instead, you can choose to play as Divano. He is the easiest character to unlock – obtain the Crimson Shroud – that will grant you extra Banish from the get-go (+6 Banish).

This will allow you to easily Banish 10 items on a single run and unlock Seal I which will increase your Banishes substantially every time you rank it, eventually leading up to Banishing 40 items in a run. Seal III will increase your item-banishing ability by three per rank.
