How to unlock PvP in Armored Core 6 (AC6)

When can I play PvP in Armored Core 6?

One of the best parts about Armored Core 6 is going head-to-head in big mecha fights. Armored Core 6 does have PvP and it’s called the Nest. Here’s how to get to the Nest and unlock PvP in Armored Core 6.

Note: Before you head into PvP, you’ll benefit greatly from learning the best builds in Armored Core 6.

How to play PvP in Armored Core 6

To unlock PvP in Armored Core 6, you need to complete Chapter 2. Of course, you need to complete Chapter 1, which has 11 missions, to get to Chapter 2. There are three missions in Chapter 2, so in total, to unlock PvP in AC6, you need to complete 14 missions.

The last mission in AC6 Chapter 2 is called Ocean Crossing and features a really hard boss battle with Sea Spider. I highly recommend you read our guide to learn the best strategy to defeat Sea Spider.

After you’ve completed the Ocean Crossing mission, you’ll not only move on to Chapter 3, but you’ll also unlock PvP. To play AC6 PvP, select the Nest, select “Custom Match,” and look for a room or create one yourself.

The PvP in Armored Core 6 can range from two to six players and can be free-for-all or team-based. You can make a private PvP room or keep it open for anyone to join. You’ll also choose a time limit and a map.

Lastly, you’ll select a member rotation option that either locks all members to playing every round, has the losers spectate and jump back in after someone else loses, or has the winners spectate and jump back in after someone else wins.

The PvP in Armored Core 6 is bound to be a really fun, chaotic, and sweaty place for a lot of people. It’s your opportunity to create the best mecha you can and test it out on a global scale. Be sure to acquire the best weapons and learn how to change your pilot name before launching into PvP — the last thing you want is to look for a fool out there.
