A shiny companion will join you for a short time and it won’t bother you every five seconds with phrases like “Hey, listen!” or “Watch out!”. Here is how to unlock the Huanglong-Whining Aix’s Mire Resonance Beacon in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves: How to unlock Huanglong-Whining Aix’s Mire Resonance Beacon
The Huanglong-Whining Aix’s Mire Resonance Beacon not only has a name that you will probably never forget, but it is also one that is locked behind a puzzle. It is located southeast of the Port Gunchao Resonance Nexus, which is the southmost part of Solaris-3 (e.g. the world where Wuthering Waves takes place.). All you need to do is use a Corroder to unlock it, but let’s explain it a bit further.
Similarly to some other Resonance Beacons like the one at the Corroded Ruins — which is secluded below the ground — will have you perform a specific task to register it. You see, this Resonance Beacon is surrounded by spikes that cannot be broken by any weapons or any Resonator attack, but the answer to unlocking it is on the floor below.
There, you will find another cluster that you can interact with by selecting the option named Obtain Corroder. The corroded is one of the many shiny butterflies that are used to solve other puzzles in the overworld. It will start to follow you, so take it with you to the floor above right where the Resonance Beacon is and the spikes will blow up instantaneously. I needed to attack the spike for it to work.
You will now be able to interact with the Huanglong-Whining Aix’s Mire Resonance Beacon, allowing you to use it as a fast travel point if you wish to come back to this area, and you will probably want that since this place is very far from Jinzhou. This part of the map features a bit of world boss fights, so you might want to check it out and level up your characters beforehand to take advantage of the situation.
