Harry Potter Magic Awakened: How to get Crucio, explained

Just like every other card in the game, the only way to get Crucio in Harry Potter Magic Awakened is to pull it through Advanced Study by using Golden Keys. Cards are acquired much like a lottery system in Harry Potter Magic Awakened, so you need to get lucky.

To reiterate, there is no surefire way to get Crucio in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. Instead, you need to rely on luck. While luck plays a major part in getting good cards in Harry Potter Magic Awakened, there is a system in place to ensure you get at least one good card after a series of not-so-good pulls.

While the probability of you pulling Crucio is 0.147%, there is a system in place to make sure you get a good card if you haven’t already. After 20 Advanced Study draws, if you don’t get a Legendary, Dark, or Mythic card, then your twentieth draw has a guarantee to pull one. While it’s more likely that this twentieth pull will grant you a Legendary card, there is a chance that you get Crucio or even Avada Kedavra.

So, the only way to get Crucio is drawing it through Advanced Studies, but there is a 20-card contingency in place as well. Hopefully, you pull Crucio before those 20 cards and if not, hopefully, you pull Crucio during your twentieth draw.
