When you first start out in Grazy Zone Warfare and pick your faction, you’ll already have three vendors to buy/sell from. These three vendors: Handshake, Gunny, and Lab Rat provide you with normal materials and items, such as armor, weapons, and healing items.

We’ll get to unlocking Artisan in a little, but for the other two, you unlock Turncoat and Banshee by leveling up your character. Turncoat is the first vendor you unlock this way when you reach somewhere between levels eight to 10. Banshee’s unlocked a bit after Turncoat, becoming available somewhere around levels 13-18.

Turncoat is all about selling AK74 variants, along with a 5.56 AK, some attachments, and helmets. On the other hand, Banshee is the very last vendor you’ll unlock and as such, he has the potential to provide a ton of useful items. Weapon-wise, Banshee sells a lot of shotgun stuff as well as shotgun ammo. But what makes him useful is the fact that he also sells wallets, which you can use to place currency in and save space in your inventory.

Gray Zone Warfare — How to unlock Artisan

When it comes to Artisan, you must complete the “Native Negotiations” quest. Native Negotiations is started by talking to Lab Rat and accepting the quest. This task asks you to place a briefcase under a specific truck at an auto-body repair shop on the island. After you complete the quest, head back to Lab Rat and complete the quest.

You’ll be able to buy a plethora of AK variants, Secondary Weapons, Ammo, Magazines, and more. We’ll give you the run down on where you need to place the briefcase, since the location is dependant on the faction you choose.

After you grab the briefcase from your command tent, your next task is to head out, find the correct location, and place the briefcase. As we said earlier, the location to place the briefcase is different for every faction, so keep that in mind when looking at this list.

If you chose the Crimson Shield faction, you’ll find the truck location at the coordinantes: -141, 164.

Those who are a part of the Mithras Security Systems, the auto-body shop is found at: -170, 117.

Finally, those who joined the Lamang Recovery Initiative can place the breifcase somewhere around: -203, 163.

After you’ve placed the briefcase under the white truck, exfil and head back to your base camp. Talk to Lab Rat to finish the quest, and you’ll be given access to buy/sell from the Artisan. She’s got some decent attachments, and you can really start to customize your weapon once you gain this vendor.
