How to unlock all new characters in Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari DLC

Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari has eight new characters to unlock. There are, of course, new weapons and weapon evolutions to get, but that’s for a different guide. Here, we’ll tell you how to unlock all eight new Tides of the Foscari characters in Vampire Survivors.

Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari: How to get all characters in

• Eleanor – Open the coffin in Lake Foscari
• Maruto Cuts – Unite SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike
• Keitha – Evolve the Eskizzibur
• Sammy – Defeat a total of 6,000 Sammies
• Luminaire Foscari – Break the Seal of the Abyss
• Genevieve Gruyère – Break the Seal of the Banished
• Je-Ne-Viv – Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Genevieve Gruyère
• Rottin’ Ghoul – Defeat a total of 6,000 Rotting Ghouls

We have many individual guides to help you unlock a few of the more challenging characters. However, to kick things off, you’ll unlock Eleanor by going to the question mark on the Lake Foscari map. Head north, cross the bridge, and then head northwest to the coffin. This is where you unlock Eleanor.

With Eleanor unlocked, you can combine SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike by getting each subsequent weapon to level six. After doing that, you’ll unlock Maruto Cuts. You also need to break the Seal of the Banished with Eleanor to get Genevieve Gruyère.

With Maruto Cuts unlocked, you can break the Seal of the Abyss to unlock Luminaire Foscari. Since Maruto Cuts unlocks the Eskizzibur, you’ll need to evolve it to unlock Keitha.

The characters that don’t take other characters to unlock are Sammy, Je-Ne-Viv, and Rottin’ Ghoul. To get Sammy, defeat a total of 6,000 Sammies. To get Je-Ne-Viv, defeat 100,000 enemies with Genevieve Gruyère (okay, that character requires a specific other character to unlock). To get Rottin’ Ghoul, defeat a total of 6,000 Rotting Ghouls.
