Harley Quinn is the most fashionable member of the Suicide Squad (sorry, King Shark), but her new look in Kill the Justice League strays a bit too far from the classics for some players. Thankfully, Harley has a ton of customization options that can be unlocked via gameplay.
While you can purchase costumes and hairstyles for Harley Quinn and the rest of the Suicide Squad in the store for real money, most of the outfits on offer can be obtained by completing Riddler challenges throughout Metropolis. The more stars you earn on a Riddler challenge, the more cosmetics you’ll unlock. Not all of these are available from the start though, so you may find yourself waiting a while to get some of Harley’s coolest clothes.
How to Get Harley Quinn’s Other Hairstyles
Most Harley mains just want to change her hairstyle to the classic pigtails, and that’s thankfully possible. While you can’t pair every hairstyle with every outfit, Harley has a set of pigtails and other styles for every one of her costumes. That includes paid outfits like the Classic set and base game costumes like her Task Force X clothing.
If you want to unlock Harley Quinn’s pigtails (called So Five Years Ago in-game) for her Task Force X outfit, you need to complete the “What’s in Store” Riddler challenge located in Midtown. This will unlock very late in the main story. Harley’s other hairstyles for her Fugitive outfit are unlocked via the “Top of the Town” and “Downtown Traffic” Riddler challenges, which become available much earlier.
All Harley Quinn Cosmetics in Suicide Squad KTJL
In the base game, Harley Quinn has five outfits to choose from with various body pieces, hairstyles, and color swatches to mix and match.
Outfit: Fugitive
Available from the start of the game, the Fugitive outfit is Harley Quinn’s Arkham clothing. While simple, it’s still fairly customizable. Here’s a list of every Fugitive customization option that you can unlock and which Riddler challenges they’re tied to in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
- Body
- Resort Wear (Top of the Town)
- Got the T-Shirt (Ride the Radio Waves)
- Head
- Gotham Night Lights (Downtown Traffic)
- Pop Punk (Top of the Town)
- Color Swatches
- Prison Stripes (Downtown Traffic)
- Burger and Fries (Top of the Town)
- Cell Shaded (Link WB Account)
Outfit: Task Force X
The Task Force X outfit is Harley’s main costume, so it makes sense that it has the most customization items. While some are still locked behind premium purchases, you can still obtain most of them just by playing the game. Here are all the Task Force X cosmetics and their associated Riddler challenges.
- Body
- Throwback Thursday (What’s in Store?)
- Gold Kryptonite (Story Progression)
- Head
- So Five Years Ago (What’s in Store?)
- Gold Kryptonite (Story Progression)

Outfit: Classic
This entire outfit is only available from the in-game store as a part of the Ruff N Tumble Classic Pack. The base set costs 1,000 Luthercoins, but you’ll need to spend 2,400 to get everything. Deluxe Edition owners get the standard version of this pack for free.
Outfit: Justice Losers
This entire outfit is only available with the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It is not currently available for purchase in the store.
Outfit: Cyber Crime
This entire outfit is obtainable for free via Twitch Drops. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has a limited-time Twitch Drop campaign, but it will likely come back again in the future for those who miss it. During the Twitch Drop campaign, a different Suicide Squad character is featured each week, so you might not get Harley’s Cyber Crime outfit if another character is in the spotlight.
