While the ability to link your Rocket League and Epic Games account is possible even now, players are curious as to how this will interact with Rocket Racing. Players have taken to social media to discuss the practicality of including everyone’s entire inventory in Fortnite. Since cars like the Octane are already in the BR mode of Fortnite, we can surmise that you will be able to transfer cars into Fortnite Rocket Racing.

As far as the actual steps of transferring cars, we’ll have to wait until the release of Rocket Racing on December 8th, 2023. Speculation as to what specific items and when they will make their way to Fortnite are already under contention. Some people think they’ll transfer more car models into Rocket Racing throughout the game-mode’s lifespan.

Others, however, think that players will have to wait until the inevitable end of trading comes to Rocket League before Epic Games decides to allow transfers over to Fortnite. And since this happens a mere two days before Fortnite Rocket Racing launches, this could very well lend some credibility to people’s theories.
