Moonstone Island – Spirit taming guide
The more you play Moonstone Island, the more you’ll meet tons of unique and adorable Spirits. Keep in mind that while you can defeat them in battle, you can also tame them. How you can tame a Spirit in Moonstone Island is by feeding them a Flax Flower.
Once you find yourself in a battle against a Spirit, on your turn, select ‘Feed’ on the left side of the screen. Then select a Flax Flower you have on hand. This will give +20 Stamina but also +10 Tame. It’s operating on a sort of chance system. Out of Pokémon habit, I would damage them first, then attempt to feed them the Flax Flower. Interestingly, it seems like you can tame Spirits without having to lower their health.
The blue heart by their name will turn green, and it’ll either fill a bit or all the way. If the taming was semi-successful, you’ll have to try feeding it another Flax Flower. But if it was successful, the heart turns green, and you immediately receive the Spirit! You can find Flax Flowers around Moonstone Island, just pick one up if you see the tiny blue flower. Also, you can grow them yourself if you purchase seeds from the General Store.
At the start of Moonstone Island, this is the only item available for taming Spirits. But potentially as the game progresses, you’ll probably find other types of plants that can tame Spirits easier. We’ll update you as we progress in this game with more ways to tame Spirits.
Moonstone Island is available on Steam.
