How to Successfully Surmount Superior Summit in Fortnite

Wait, it's that simple?

Weekly Quests are a great way to earn EXP in Fortnite and serve as a fun palate cleanser from hunting Victory and Crowned Royales. Most Weekly Quests are simple, but a few may trip you up. If you’re struggling, let me show you how to Successfully Surmount Superior Summit in Fortnite.

How to complete the Successfully Surmount Superior Summit task in Fortnite

I can’t help but think the quest designer came up with the name before the task itself. Regardless, all you have to do for this task is reach the top of Superior Summit. There’s no exact landmark, but I completed the task when I stood near the Jump Pad right at the mountain’s peak. It doesn’t matter if you die immediately after; once you’ve reached the top, you’ve completed the task.

Oddly enough, Superior Summit isn’t a POI on the map, but I have circled the location in the picture above. You can follow the quest marker when you have the task selected. Alternatively, head to the peak of the mountain range southeast of Reckless Railways. It’s the tallest part of the map, and you can decide whether to land there first or loot up beforehand.

It can be a real pain to scale Superior Summit from the ground, so I recommend gliding to the mountaintop when you depart the bus (after thanking the driver, of course). If you fall short, there’s a zipline to the north, but it may be best to try again in another match as there are many areas you cannot scale.

Once you’ve completed the task, I recommend using the Jump Pad to fly somewhere else, as you won’t have many opportunities to loot on the mountain.

The other Week 13 quests are pretty straightforward, but the Mosiac Snapshot tasks may cause problems. If you don’t know where to start with these, check out our step-by-step guide, which explains everything.
