How to solve Static Pressure in The Talos Principle 2

No pressure, you can solve this one no problem.

Static Pressure requires some outside-of-the-box thinking. It’s the first of many puzzles to emphasize the interactivity between buttons, boxes, and other moveable puzzle objects. It only gets more complex from here. For now, we’ll look at this introduction and how it’s solved to help figure out later puzzles more easily.

How to solve Static Pressure puzzle in Talos Principle 2

First of all, once you get into the room, your first move is to go to the fan at the end of the room and detach it. Take it over to the other red button and set it down on top to get access to the two boxes inside. Take them outside of their little enclosure and set them down wherever.

Now you have everything you need to solve the puzzle. You need to return the fan cover back on top of the fan you got it from. Now take one box, and put it on top of the fan. Then grab the other, approach the first from either side, and jump onto it while holding the box. Then drop the box onto the red button.

You’ll launch yourself up and be able to collect the puzzle piece waiting for you with another simple jump. Make sure you’re moused over the spot where the spacebar prompt appears. You might end up falling down and attempting to do it manually.

This gets you the puzzle piece, thus solving the puzzle Hooray! Time to keep solving!
