The shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild were one of the highlights. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom brings shrines back, and has a hefty first area that houses a few of these shrines. The final shrine you’ll find in the first area of Tears of the Kingdom is the Nachoyah Shrine, with its puzzles centered around using the Recall feature. Here’s how to solve Nachoyah Shrine puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom.
Nachoyah Shrine puzzle solution in Tears of the Kingdom
Upon entering this shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, the first thing you’re going to notice is a body of water that’s flowing towards you with a raft on it. Don’t do what I did on my first attempt at this shrine and just jump into the water, as you’ll be forced backwards and die. Instead, to solve the first Nachoyah Shrine puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom, wait for the raft to approach you, and then use the Recall ability to send it back to where it comes from.
Second puzzle solution
Once you reach the platform in front of you, you’re going to want to hop off and cancel the Recall. This is due to the time limit that this ability has in Tears of the Kingdom, leading you to need to refresh which raft you use as you progress through this shrine. Therefore, wait for another raft to come towards you from the waterfall, and do the same thing again.
Getting Nachoyah Shrine’s bonus chest
After climbing the waterfall, you can use Recall on a cog to the left to claim a bonus chest, which is always nice.
Final Nachoyah Shrine puzzle solution in Tears of the Kingdom
Moving on to the final puzzle in this shrine, which is just to the right of the cog, and you will see two clock hands turning in opposite directions. These open the door when they align, so wait for them to align, and then use the Recall ability to make the front hand to make them move the same way.
After you complete that step, you’ll be able to finish the Nachoyah Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom and work towards your next Heart Container or Stamina upgrade.
