Sign up for the Beta

To sign up for the Dune: Awakening Beta, you must be running a PC setup. Sadly, the game won’t be available on console yet. To gain access to a chance to be a beta tester, you need to head to their website. Once you’re on the site, look for the Beta Signup option on the top right of the screen.

Here, you will be prompted to enter your email and select the levels of contact you will grant them. Once you have submitted your details, you will receive a welcome email in your inbox. The email will tell you that you have been put on a list of potential candidates to Beta test Dune: Awakening in the future.

Now, all there is to do is wait for the email providing you with the invitation to test the game for the developers. This could come at any time, so make sure you keep an eye out for the email. Also, don’t hold your breath; there will be many people hoping to be selected, myself included.

What to expect from a beta test

Beta tests are a great way for a development team to get some boots-on-the-ground feedback on a game. The versions of Dune: Awakening released for beta testing are far from the finished product. It is up to the beta testers to put the game through its paces. It is their job to work out where improvements need to be made.

When Dune: Awakening comes out for beta testing, it will be at a point where it is playable. However, the team knows it needs work. If you are particularly excited about getting to play the Dune: Awakening before release, you could become part of the team to get it ready.
