How to create Quickswitch bind in CS2

The steps to create a Quickswitch bind might be a bit confusing if you don’t have a clear idea of how the dev console of Counter-Strike works. However, you can follow the given steps to set up a Quickswitch bind in your CS2 game.

  • Launch the game.
  • Open the developer console by pressing the tilde (~) key.
  • Type in the following command:
    alias +qsw “slot3”;
    alias -qsw “lastinv”;
    bind “put key here” +qsw.
  • Replace your desired key with the put key here text to switch to your knife and then back to your primary weapon in slot 1.

Following this process will enable the Quickswitch bind in CS2. However, make sure to input these commands each time you enter the game to ensure the binds are working properly.

Is Quickswitch bind useful?

If you are a sniper in CS2, the Quickswitch bind will come in handy for your survival. This bind will let you scope out in an instant and also let you move away from any potential bullet coming your way. Players often need to scope out after firing a shot of AWP to readjust their aim. Without this bind, the process might take more time if you choose to do it manually. So, for better aim readjustment and movement accuracy, using the Quickswitch command is highly recommended for snipers.
