Tips to score free kick goals in EA Sports FC 24

Choose the correct free kick taker

Choosing the correct free kick taker is the first and foremost necessity to score a goal from a free kick. You will often be given players who don’t have much PWR to land a perfect shot. You will often find players who take the shot with a foot, which you might not always be comfortable with. Make sure to choose the most suitable free kick taker in your team to ensure your goal from a free kick. In order to change the kick taker, hold R2 on your PlayStation and RT on your Xbox.

After choosing the kick taker, your next would be to aim the shot properly and select the best trajectory for it to enter the goal post. If you are taking a shot from a position vertical to the goal post, aim above the head of the middle player standing on the wall in front of you. In the case of taking free kicks from the right side of the goal post, aim above the head of the right player in the wall. Finally, in the case of taking free kicks from the left side of the goal post, aim above the head of the left player in the wall.

Execute the shot

The final step to score from a free kick goal in EA Sports FC 24 is to execute the shot perfectly. This includes the type of shot that you are playing and also the power with which you will be shooting the ball. If you are taking a shot from in front of the goal post, select Outside Foot Curl as your shot type. If you are taking a free kick from any of the two sides, select Inside Food Curl as your shot type. Now, as the final phase of the execution stage, select your shot power properly. If you are taking a short free kick, select three bars of power, and for a long free kick, select four bars of power.
