Scroll Of Revivify Baldur's Gate 3

If one of your characters loses all their health points, they will not immediately perish. Instead, they will be knocked down and begin to roll a 20-sided die. This will commence the rolling of saving throws, determining whether the character will revive themselves or succumb to death. However, there are several ways to revive a downed character so they don’t have to continue with their saving throws.

Once a character begins to roll saving throws, a counter will be displayed above their head, indicating their rolls’ outcome. A roll of 10 or lower results in a death counter, while a roll above 10 earns a stability counter. Saving throws are made at the start of the character’s turn. If they roll three successful saving throws, they will be revived. But if they fail, they will perish. Fortunately, a character’s death is not permanent, and there are various ways to revive them if they meet an unfortunate end.

Scroll of Revivify

The Scroll of Revivify will instantly revive a dead character. This can be accomplished by any character who currently has a Scroll of Revivify in their inventory. When used, a spell will be cast on-screen, and you will be asked to choose your fallen character.

You can purchase Scroll of Revivify from the following merchants:

  • Roah Moonglow at Shattered Sanction
  • Arron at Druid Grove
  • Cyrel at The Risen Road

In addition, a Wizard can learn the Revivify spell by right-clicking on the Scroll of Revivify to learn the spell. However, the Revivify spell requires a Level 3 spell slot, meaning the Wizard must be at least Level 5.

The Help Command

You can use the Help Command to save a character who is knocked down and starting to make their saving throws. To do so, you must move a character within five feet of the downed character. Then, click the hand-holding icon in your actions menu to trigger the other character to save the downed character. However, the Help command takes an action, so be sure to plan your moves accordingly.

Healing Spells

Another way to revive a downed character is by using any healing spell on them while they are performing their saving throws. Doing so will cause them to recover automatically as if they passed their saving throws. Downed characters saved this way will not have much health, so heal them quickly.

The Talkative Skeleton

Before using The Talkative Skeleton to revive a downed character, you must free him by completing the Overgrown Ruins quest. After that, the Talkative Skeleton will join your camp, where you can use him to revive characters.

Here’s how you can revive dead characters:

  1. Wait until the battle is over.
  2. Travel to your camp.
  3. Speak to The Talkative Skeleton (he is located by the beach).
  4. He’ll revive a dead character for 200 gold.
  5. Your character will spawn at your camp.

Gold is scarce in Baldur’s Gate 3, so this option should only be used as a last resort.
