Going back to The Lands Between in Elden Ring shouldn’t be a struggle. However, this guide will show how to return to the vanilla map of Lands Between from the Shadow of Erdtree section in Elden Ring.
Elden Ring: How to return to the Lands Between vanilla map from the Shadow of Erdtree
For anyone who’s played Elden Ring, doing even the most basic things like playing the Shadow of Erdtree DLC is a process. The same might be said for going back to the base map. If you’re having trouble returning to the Lands Between Map, follow the steps below.
- Start Elden Ring and be the area of the Shadow of Erdtree DLC.
- Head to the game’s map and look at the inputs at the bottom.
- One should say “Show Lands Between Map.”
- Whichever platform you’re playing it on, press the designated button.
- Once you press on that option, the map for the Lands Between will pop up instead.
- From here, you can interact with any Grace you’ve unlocked and fast-travel to it.
To go back to the DLC map, just reverse the steps above. It seems that outside of these steps you don’t have to do anything else complicated, like interacting with an NPC to start the DLC.
Why would I go back?
There are many reasons to head to the Lands Between. Since the base game of Elden Ring is so massive and deep, you’re almost guaranteed to miss something like Limegrave bosses. On top of that, it can help you prepare better while venturing into the Shadow of Erdtree map. With this new area being even harder, grinding away and finishing any loose ends in the Lands Between can help one manage the battles coming in the DLC.
The game is inherently hard, however, playing in co-op can make Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree a little easier.Â
