Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 has introduced a whole new skill and perk tree to the game, revamping the tired old system and introducing an easy-to-understand one. The new perks and attributes section has all new perks to play with and makes build crafting much more accessible. With this, it is possible to become highly specialized in the game, tweaking V to your heart’s content, especially with recent additions to the perks, as they’ve taken inspiration from Cyberpunk Edgerunners as well.
However, once you have spent all your points, you have to work with what you have. Cyberpunk 2077 has graciously added the ability to reset all attributes and perks so you can respec on the go; here is how.
Reseting Attributes in Cyberpunk 2077
To reset all your attributes in Cyberpunk 2077, you simply need to open up your character screen from the pause menu. Once in the Character screen, locate the reset attributes button at the bottom left. Once you have selected this, you will have all perks and attribute points given back to you for redistribution.
However, you should bear in mind that a reset of attributes in Cyberpunk 2077 can only be done once. This prevents players from simply respeccing any time they want to brute force a door or hack into something way above their skill grade. Use it with caution and quick save beforehand.
Reseting Perks in Cyberpunk 2077
Perks, on the other hand, can be moved around and redistributed as you see fit, making build crafting within your given attributes easy enough. Perk points are great to reset and experiment with in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. You can create all sorts of weird and wonderful builds with the new, improved system.
An improvement on the old
The old system in Cyberpunk 2077 used to have you visit a Ripperdoc and pay a huge 100,000 credits to reset your Attribute points. Then, with the 1.6 updates, they lowered the cost to 25,000 points. Now, with Cyberpunk 2077, resetting your Attributes is free, if limited.
