Replayability is key with any game that doesn’t have online multiplayer. If you really want to make the most of a game that only has a single-player campaign, you need to ensure that there is an element that keeps people coming back time after time.
With Ghostrunner 2, it is the chase for perfection. Every little level has collectibles to miss, deaths to whittle down, and timers to beat. If you really want to play the perfect game, then you are going to have to replay the Ghostrunner 2 levels over and over again.
Can you replay Ghostrunner 2 levels?
Yes, you absolutely can, and the game encourages you to do it. After each level, you will be shown your achievements throughout. What your time was, how many times you died, and all the collectibles you missed along the way. Going back and trying to beat your own score is almost a given.
As the game goes on and more players start their adventures in Ghostrunner 2, I have no doubt the online leaderboard is going to explode with records to beat. Even I, after one particular run, had to go back and try again. I had almost completed the whole run without a single death. I needed to go back to see if it could be done. Turns out, after my fifth try, that no, my one-death run was a fluke, and my multiple-level replays in Ghostrunner 2 just made me worse.
How to replay the levels
Before you go into the game, hover over the play game icon on the bottom left of the screen. Here you will see the option to Level Select. You can choose to play any of the previous levels in Ghostrunner 2. Furthermore, you can also see just how well you performed on your best run-through.
If you’re looking to improve on any of your old scores, this handy little menu will show you just where you were lacking. I can’t wait to see the no-death speed runs that will no doubt be coming out soon.
