While Star Wars Outlaws has a good amount of difficulty settings that you can tweak, there’s technically no way to turn fall damage off. It’s unfortunate because I feel like Kay takes fall damage from the smallest of falls, which makes the “cannot save while in combat” bug even more annoying.

But don’t leave yet, because the Tooka Paw Minor Charm greatly reduces fall damage. The only catch is you die completely from great heights (which can take time to master). We may not be able to turn off fall damage, but we do have the next best thing.

Where to find Tooka Paw in Star Wars Outlaws: Location, explained

So, you want the Tooka Paw Minor Charm to basically remove fall damage from Star Wars Outlaws? That makes sense. It is located on Typhon’s Rock which is in The Lost Steppe on Toshara. It’s a Charm I’ve never talked off ever since I got it because of how useful not taking fall damage is.

To get to the treasure that gets you the Tooka Paw, you need to circle Typhon’s Rock and start climbing it on the north side. As far as I’m aware, there’s only one way to climb it, so keep looking for a way up until you eventually spot it. Look for the Merchant tied to the Special Tailoring Supplies Intel to find where to start climbing up Typhon’s Rock.

Once on the first plateau of Typhon’s Rock, veer left toward the three rocks that go off the side. Climb up those and jump across to the last one. Rappel down, grab the loot on the ground, and open the treasure. There, you’ll find the Tooka Paw.

Make sure to equip the Tooka Paw and, boom, you won’t take fall damage. You’ll still be reminded when you could take fall damage when it happens, but instead of losing health, it’ll stay exactly where it’s at. This will interrupt healing from a Bacta Vial, so keep that in mind before you jump. Now, Star Wars Outlaws feels even more like Uncharted as you leap from cliffsides with zero fall damage. Not only that, but luckily, Charms don’t affect transmog.
