Throughout your adventures in Palworld, you’ll likely come across Eggs. These Eggs can be hatched in the Egg Incubator. The process can be rather slow, especially if you have a lot of these Eggs. So, I’m going to break down how to speed up this process. It’s going to help out a lot, so read on!
Palworld: How to reduce egg incubation hatch time
Pals can be purchased, caught, or hatched via Eggs found throughout the game. The latter is what we’re concerned with today. There are eight different types of Eggs in Palworld.
- Dark Egg – Dark Pal
- Dragon Egg – Dragon Pal
- Rocky Egg – Ground Pal
- Electric Egg – Electric Pal
- Scorching Egg – Fire Pal
- Frozen Egg – Ice Pal
- Verdant Egg – Grass Pal
- Damp Egg – Water Pal

Once you have one of these Eggs in your Egg Incubator, which is the only way to hatch one of these into a new Pal, you may notice that the hatching time is quite long. Luckily, you can speed this up. Here are some methods we recommend.
- Ensure the surroundings of the egg are optimal.
- More often than not, the Egg will say if it’s either too hot or too cold. So, putting heaters or coolers around the Egg is going to speed up the process.
- Lower your difficulty
- Any world on a difficulty higher than Normal will have a default longer hatch time compared to other difficulties, so keep this in mind.
- Dedicated server
- If you’re playing Palworld on a Steam dedicated server, you can go into the files and speed up this process.
- In the files of Palworld, look for PalEggDefaultHatchingTim. Once this is located, you will want to change the number to simply “1.” This will drastically increase the speed at which Eggs hatch, but it will only work on dedicated servers.
- If you’re playing Palworld on a Steam dedicated server, you can go into the files and speed up this process.
There are Eggs all over Palworld. While these methods aren’t going to make the Eggs instantly hatch, they’ll help reduce the time greatly, so keep this in mind when setting up your Egg Incubators.
