Tears of the Kingdom: How to fly to Valor Island

Valor Island is part of the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago, which is above Mount Lanayru. It seems pretty high up, but to actually reach it, you only need to make it to its lowest island. This is because the islands above it are for the Dive Ceremony, which can earn you pieces of the Glide Armor set. On Valor Island, you can enter the Dive Ceremony to earn the Glide Mask. But making it to Valor Island is the first step to obtaining this gear.

You’ll want to start at Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. Once you unlock it, use it to fly high into the sky and immediately fly north east. There are two ways of making it to Valor Island. One is the harder but faster way, while the other is the easier but longer way.

If you want to try the former way, all you’d need to do is glide all the way to the bottom of Valor Island. The base of it is shown in the photo above. While this way is faster, it’s harder because of the amount of stamina you’ll need.

Make sure to pack elixirs or meals that can give you more stamina. Another trick is to use the Vow of Tulin, if you’ve already beaten the Wind Temple in Hebra. Tulin’s wind gust can help you get to the island faster.

How to reach Valor Island – Flying vehicle

Otherwise, the latter way will take longer and is a little easier. In the order shown above, glide towards the first island, then grab the flying vehicle that’s on the island. It should already be built, ready with Fans, Batteries and a Steering Stick.

I recommend that you fly from that island, to the second one listed above, as the next island has a replacement flying vehicle. From that second island, you should be able to make it near enough to Valor Island for you to jump and glide off towards it. Now you know how to reach Valor Island in Tears of the Kingdom!
