How to play rock, paper, scissors in Helldivers 2

Here's how you can get this emote.

There’s a lot more to Helldivers 2 than killing bugs and robots. Spreading democracy with your friends is the best bonding experience, and there are a few extra things you can do on your ship in between missions to grow even closer with your fellow soldiers.

Just like the snowball fights that you can get into on certain planets in Helldivers 2, you can take part in some relaxing minigames on your ship in between missions. Rock, Paper, Scissors is a popular pastime among Helldivers, but not every soldier knows how to unlock it.

If you want to play Rock, Paper, Scissors in Helldivers 2, you first need to unlock the emote. It’s a reward from the Warbond, which is the Helldivers 2 Battle Pass. You’ll find it on page eight of the Helldivers Mobilize Warbond.

The emote itself costs 50 Medals to unlock, but you need to purchase Warbond rewards that come before it before you can buy it. Reaching page eight of the Warbond requires you to spend 650 total Medals, so make sure you’re spending them and not saving them if you want to progress through the Battle Pass faster. You don’t need to buy absolutely everything in the Warbond to unlock new pages, but you’ll still need to purchase most of the rewards.

You can earn Medals just by playing Helldivers 2 and completing missions against either bugs or bots, but the fastest way to get them is by completing your Daily Order challenges and taking on higher-difficulty missions. This can be tough since matchmaking isn’t always working in Helldivers 2 because of the huge influx of players across PC and PlayStation 5, but there are still solo-friendly farming options if you don’t mind playing some of the game’s easier content.
