If you want to wait to go hunting for specific resources at a different time, how would you do that? We’ll explain how to pass time in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
There are many reasons why you may want to pass time, whether that be to change the time of day or the weather. This is a pretty useful mechanic, and I’ll tell you how it works.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: How to change the time of day
Once you figure out how this works, changing the time of day or weather will be easy. You just need to know where to look. You can pass time in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora by sitting at a designated resting spot.
There are certain areas around the Western Frontier of Pandora where you can sit and wait for time to pass. This can allow for day to turn to night, or sunny weather to change into rain. Since certain plants are higher in quality if you harvest them in certain environments, it’s important to know how to pass the time.

I found this one spot at a laboratory, one of the many spots you can find that allow for fast travel. It’s quite random, so you have to keep an eye out for spots like this. You’ll usually find these resting spots near other equipment like cooking or crafting stations.
I’m still exploring the world of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, so other resting spots may look different, but most of them have campfires. I discovered another resting spot at a random Hunter’s Rest location — they’re typically by these fast-travel points.
Simply walk up to the campfire, hold the “E” key, and a certain amount of time will pass. Unfortunately, you can’t determine exactly how long you want to wait. But passing time is still a very useful method of controlling the environment.
