The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sometimes breaks the mold established by Breath of the Wild. However, it more often refines what was already familiar. That means that once again, you’ll climb all over things and find your energy reserves dwindling. Fortunately, this guide tells you how to make stamina elixirs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom – how to make Stamina Elixirs
When you start climbing hills, or even just holding onto the Paraglider as you descend from high elevation, you burn through your stamina wheel. Particularly during the early parts of your quest, this happens with alarming speed. It limits the efficiency of your exploration.
The good news is that you can mix various elixirs to restore energy. You just have to find the right ingredients and recipes. To make stamina elixirs, cook monster parts with insects and some animals.
As noted above, you need to start with a monster part to serve as your elixir base. Two possibilities (out of many) include the Lizalfos Talon or a Bokoblin Fang. Various Guts items also work. Then you mix in an ingredient that provides the actual energy restoration.
As an example, you might combine a Lizalfos Talon with an Energetic Rhino Beetle. This particular mix restores the better part of two stamina wheels. Another solid mix is a monster part combined with Tireless Frog. This produces the Enduring Elixir, which adds a temporary boost to your stamina wheel.
Sometimes, you don’t have premium ingredients available. Combining a Lizalfos Talon with a more common Restless Cricket produces an elixir that still recovers stamina. You can add additional crickets to improve the outcome. If you try mixing a talon with an Endura Carrot, however, you’ll just waste your ingredients. Monster parts mixed with most standard food items produce Dubious Food that restores no stamina whatsoever.
