Sand Stew recipe guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Sand Stew, you need five ingredients in total:
- Any vegetable
- Any spice
- Sand Fish
- Dunebopper
- Sand Worm
The vegetable and spice is the easy part. You can easily pick up Cumin or Oregano or Basil off the ground and throw it in the pot, or a Mushroom from the Glade of Trust, or plant one of the many Carrot or Corn seeds retrieved from removing Night Thorns to yield your vegetable. But the sand creatures will take more effort.

Sand Fish are the easiest of the bunch. All you have to do is cast your Fishing Rod out on the sandy dune water at Glittering Dunes where there isn’t a ripple, and you’ll pull one up. Sand Worms can be found in the same pool from golden ripples. Though in the sandy texture, they look more orange.
And finally, the Dunebopper can only be caught in the Oasis area pool from blue ripples.
Now with all the creatures and fish on hand, throw everything into a pot to yield your Sand Stew.
Sand Stew is a five-star recipe that sells for 2,200 coins at base and yields a whopping 5,000 energy per consumption. 2,200 coins are nothing to scoff at, especially when you don’t have to pay for any of the ingredients, putting it in the same class as other high-yield five-star recipes such as Blend of the Bayou or Thousand Needles. If you’re trying to make money and don’t mind a lot of fishing, Sand Stew may just help you make money more quickly.
