Making Nix jealous isn’t something that we typically want to do to our adorable companion, but for an Ability, we need to do it. Here’s how to make Nix jealous in Star Wars Outlaws.
Making Nix jealous in Star Wars Outlaws
You can make Nix jealous in Star Wars Outlaws by performing a classic move: giving another creature attention. Making Nix jealous is a requirement for the Feelers Out Ability from The Mercenary
By petting another creature with Nix by your side, you make him jealous and Kay remarks about it. You can find little critters all around the place, but the easiest place is in Jaunta’s Hope. Fast travel there and look around the landing pad for any other animal.
You should notice a white dot above their head. When you’re in position, you can interact with them to pet them and make poor Nix jealous in the process. Don’t go right up to them, as the prompt won’t work. You’ll need to be a couple of steps away in front of them.
Once you’ve done this, the task of making Nix jealous will be complete. If this was your last task for the Feeler’s Out ability, then it’ll unlock instantly.
Unlocking Feeler’s Out in Star Wars Outlaws
You only want to actively make Nix jealous when trying to unlock the Feeler’s Out ability, given by The Mercenary in Star Wars Outlaws. Sure, you can pet all the many creatures throughout Star Wars Outlaws, just be sure to give some love to Nix, too.
Feeler’s Out doubles the range of Nix Sense, which is what detects nearby enemies and objects, so is certainly an ability you’ll want to unlock.
Here’s everything you need to do for the Feeler’s Out ability in Star Wars Outlaws:
- Use Nix to fetch a weapon, grenade, and a Bacta Vial.
- Complete a thief contract without being detected.
- Make Nix jealous.
We’ve already covered the final step, and the first two steps should be easy enough.
If you’re having difficulty completing thief contracts whilst remaining undetected, then there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Using the stun setting on your blaster will eliminate an enemy quietly, so long as no one is around to see it happen.
- There’s no cooldown on the Nix Sense ability, so abuse it to know if any enemies are around the corner at all times.
- Holding down the “Nix” button will highlight vents and doors that you can bee-line to to escape busy hallways or areas.
- If you get close to an enemy, you can use your melee attack to perform a silent takedown.
- Take it slow to analyze enemy patrol patterns to weave in and out without being seen. Stepping back for a minute and observing can help identify exactly where you can and can’t go.
With those tips, you should be able to complete the Feeler’s Out Ability in no time, let alone just make Nix jealous. Now that you can unlock Feeler’s Out confidently, why don’t you use the skill upgrade to find the Mirogana Crimson Dawn keycards?
