How to make Bomber Plane in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Bombs away!

With the multitude of Zonai Devices at Link’s disposal in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the creations are endless! Many players online have shared their own creative designs, one of them being a Bomber Plane. A YouTuber named ‘Key’ posted a video showcasing them stealth bombing a Bokoblin camp, while also demonstrating how to build their vehicle. We’ll share this video and explain how you can make a Bomber Plane in Tears of the Kingdom.

Bomber Plane build guide in Tears of the Kingdom

Your first step to building this slow-flying but deadly vehicle is getting the right parts for it. The body of the Bomber Plane consists of wooden structures you can find at most Hyrule Restoration Materials sites. Apart from that, these are the Zonai Devices required for this Bomber Plane in Tears of the Kingdom.

  • Fans x8
  • Cannons x4
  • Construct Heads x2
  • Steering Stick

Bomber Plane instructions

The minimal amount of Zonai Devices needed makes this an easy construct to make. First off, take two big wooden planks and attach them to two wooden posts like the photo shown. Those will act as the wings and body of the plane. Then, the Steering Stick goes in the middle. You’ll follow up with the Fans. Place two at a 45 degree angle at the back of the plane.

Here’s a quick tip I learned from creating a Tank in Tears of the Kingdom. If you have a Stake Zonai Device, you can place it into the ground, and attach your build on the Stake. This allows you to build your creations at a higher level, making everything much easier. Then, on each wing, you’ll have two fans facing downwards in the middle and corner of the wing, and another Fan on a 45 degree angle attached to the fan like so. Mirror this design on the other wing.

Construct Head Cannons

Finally, you’ll need to make the bombing device. To just make one, attach two Cannons on either side of a Construct Head. Once you’ve created two, attach each to either side of the wing, the Cannons faced downwards. That’s all it really takes to create this Bomber Plane! Now, if you use the Steering Stick, you should slowly fly up, and be able to bomb any Bokoblin camp safely. If you plan to stay up in the air for awhile, I’d recommend attaching some Batteries.
