The Dungeons area of Hogwarts is well known in the Wizarding World for being where the Slytherin Common Room is located. But there’s even more in Hogwarts Legacy, including two classrooms, a Daedalian key chest location, hidden chests, and the Sleeping Dragon. But unless you have easy access to it via the Slytherin Common Room Floo Station, it has no direct floo station to reach it. Here’s how to locate the Dungeons in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy: Dungeons locations guide
Starting points
The dungeons area is closest to two different Floo Stations: The Map Chamber and the Transfiguration Classroom.
From the Transfiguration Classroom
You’ll go through doors, down staircases, and past halls to end up at the Sleeping Dragon. For the full route, see this guide. But once you have it unlocked, there’s an even closer Floo Station to the Dungeons:
From the Map Chamber
Go up the many flights of stairs in the Map Chamber and you will eventually find yourself pushing through a jail-grated door to access a room in the Dungeons. From there, the rest of the Dungeons area is down the staircase to your immediate left and through the hall.
Other dungeons to locate in Hogwarts Legacy
The Dungeons are a fairly small area of the castle map, but there’s another few areas in the game sharing the name. The Cairn Dungeons are a set of five dungeons around the world map for the player to explore, and even gain an achievement for doing so. These are dungeons in the more traditional sense of an enclosed area of a video game filled with puzzles and potentially a boss fight at the end, while the ones in the castle are literal dungeons from real life. Perhaps they will be something for an ambitious Slytherin to explore later.
Hogwarts Legacy is available via Steam.
