How to Link Ubisoft and Twitch accounts

Don't miss the drop.

Drops are an interesting and fun way to get involved in Twitch streams and also get your hands on some exclusive goodies for your favorite games. Periodically, throughout a game’s life, Twitch Drops will become available. These allow you to watch your favorite streamer play a game and receive in-game rewards for partaking. To do this you need to have your Twitch account able to communicate with the platform the game is played on. This can be tricky, but with this simple guide, you will be able to link Ubisoft and Twitch accounts so you never miss out on drops again.

The steps are relatively simple but there are a few hoops to jump through before you get started on the last stages. The first thing you need to do is ensure that you have verified your Twitch email address. When you created your Twitch account you received an email that needs a quick verification. Once you have finished this step you’re ready to link your Ubisoft and Twitch accounts.

  1. Visit the drops section of the Ubisoft website here.
  2. Select the option to Get Started and then Log in With Twitch.
  3. This will prompt you to log in with your Twitch account. Ensure you have your details on hand and are able to verify with the two-step authentication.
  4. Once you have logged in you need to log into the Ubisoft account you would like to receive your drops in.

A few noted on Twitch Drops

Twitch drops are a great way to pick up new cosmetics. You can also show off by saying “I was there” for big events. They usually require a few hours of streaming specific streamers to achieve the drops. These streamers will have a badge on their name letting you know they’re one of the chosen few.

It is also possible to track your watching and drops progress. You can do this by clicking on your picture at the top right of the Twitch page. From here you can select Drops & Rewards section and see how far along you are towards receiving your reward.
